Our Story
Built by someone who's sat on both sides of the table. Advised by deep, experienced business practitioners.
Over 25 years, I've sat in board rooms deciding the fate of 35-store networks, and I've stood on retail floors watching a single manager's decision make or break a month's margin. I've scaled Reliance Retail's non-apparel business across 450+ stores, engineered a financial turnaround at TBZ that unlocked a 150% profit expansion, and taken a jewelry brand from 16 doors to 48 across three continents worth of cities. What I noticed, across every one of those roles, is that this kind of operating experience almost never reaches the people who need it most — the single-store owner deciding whether to open a second location, the family business trying to professionalise without losing what made it work, the founder who's never sat through a board meeting but is about to need to.
LaWI exists to close that gap. Not with generic business coaching, and not with consultants who've only ever advised from the outside — but with people who've actually run the P&L, negotiated the franchise terms, or built the leadership pipeline themselves.
Every advisor on this platform is chosen the same way I'd choose someone to advise my own business: real, checkable experience, in the specific problem you're facing right now. I've brought in leaders from TBZ, Reliance Jewels, Shoppers Stop, and global companies like Microsoft and GE — not because their names look good on a page, but because they've solved the exact problems our clients bring to them.
I still take on advisory work myself — both individual sessions and deeper corporate engagements — because staying close to real, current problems is the only way I know to keep this platform honest about what it offers.

What makes LaWI different
Operators, not observers
Every advisor has held P&L responsibility, managed teams, and made decisions with real consequences. No one here has only ever advised from the outside.
Specific, not generic
You book an advisor for the exact problem you have — retail expansion, financial turnaround, leadership development, franchise structuring. Not a generalist who covers everything loosely.
Accessible, not exclusive
Board-level operating experience has historically been available only to large organisations. LaWI makes it directly bookable — starting with a free discovery call.
